Track Who Your Partner Follows on Instagram
If you have ever scrolled someone's following list trying to remember whether that account was there last week, you already know the problem: Instagram keeps no history and gives you no notifications.

What is genuinely visible on a public account
- The full following list, ordered newest-first.
- The following count, which changes the moment a new follow happens.
- Each followed account's username, name, picture and verified badge.
That combination is enough to answer "who did they follow recently?" — because the newest entries sit at the top and the count proves a change occurred.
What is not visible (no matter what a tool claims)
- Exact follow timestamps. Instagram does not publish them.
- Anything at all on a private account.
- Unfollows framed as follows, DMs, viewed stories, or "who they talk to most". Tools advertising these are guessing or lying.
Knowing the limits is what separates a useful check from an anxiety spiral fed by fake data.

Manual checking, and why it fails
The manual route is to open the profile, screenshot the top of the following list, and compare later. It fails for predictable reasons: you check from your own logged-in account, you forget the previous state, and the list reshuffles on its own so you "remember" changes that never happened.
